On Friday, I met Alex who my sister’s friend in the Korean restaurant. This Korean restaurant’s name is 88 (Eight Eight). Alex asked me why this restaurant’s name is 88. Actually, in my country, the nuber of 88 has a special meaning.  Usually, 88 means the 1988 Olympics in South Korea. So we tolk about the 1988 Olympics in South Korea. The 1988 Olympics has many kinds of meaning in my country such as psychological, social, and economical aspects. This Olympics paved the way for that Korean people feel confidence. It also paved the way for more economic growth for South Korea. So, Korean people like the number of 88. I explained the 1988 Olympics, but South Korea hosted this Olympic in the 1988, and at that time, I was baby. So, It was difficult to explain detaily. But It was a great time. We could talk about sport through this topic. He like to play tennis. Maybe I can learn how to play teenis from him. :-]

I met Alex who is my sister’s classmate, with my sister. Our mojers are part of art, so we talked about art and design. He said that design has to clear and easy. It means that most important thing in design is convenient and easy for people.  However, my opinion is little bit different with him. My definition of design is that design has to like a poem. It means design has to have a messege for people. The good design that is really memorability has a messege. I explaned my definition of design, but it was too hard so my sister helped me what I said. At that time, I realized that I have to learn English hardly!! I could not speak about my opinion clearly. Anyway, He is Korean American.( but he can not speak Korean.) He told about American life and his family. He wanted to visit Korea. I introduced Hong De street that I was live in Seoul. Many artists and art student live in there and it has many kinds of entertainments. He wanted to go to there. We promised if we visit our country we help him for his travel. :-]

On Thurseday, I met Jessica, and we talk about the war. At that time, I got a new that is about the broken ship. Two weeks ago, my country had a accident that a big ship was broken in the sea, and the police couldn’t find some clue why this ship was broken exactly. However, they found some clue that might attack from North Korea. Therefore, Korea people afraid about the war between North and South. We talked about the war that is not good, and we also talked about the nuclear weapon.

We also talked about religion. I told her my story that I believe my god by my way after I read Davinci Code. She told me about her major and her idea of religion.

In my opinion, this picture tells us as saying. “I want to be a person who got a spunk.” Because she cuts her hair, and she wear suit for men, so she looks very stronger. She also looks like a person who confront a critical decision. Frida Kahlo couldn’t have babies and she got a sick in her whole life. However, this picture says that I want to be a strong person, or I decied something that is important.  

The saying “a person who got a spunk.” guote from “A gathering of old men” When I saw this post, I could remember my reading book and this saying.

I met American who live in the next door of my aunt’s house. I was very lucky! At that time, I just visited my aunt’s house, and I couldm’t know who was in there. she was in the yard of my aunt house with her mother, and her name is Faith. My aunt was talking about tree’s that is growing in the yard with her mother. I and Faith became friend easily because she is so kind. We told about my country, family and pet. She has a big dog. She don’t like Richmond (haha), so she wants to go the university that in the another city such as New York or Chicago. It was great for me, and we promised that we meet again if I visit my aunt’s house.
